It was a great base to walk the southern half of the Cotswold Way which we walked from Chipping Camden to Bath in 5 days. A wonderful experience! The wildlife and views along the way were outstanding. This was a great place to unwind – so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our meal at The Lord Nelson in Marshfield. Saw Woodpeckers, both Green and Greater Spotted, and heard Tawny Owls at night, most atmospheric. The welcome basket of food was great. We are returning much fitter and more relaxed than when we started! – The Baker Family, Leamington Spa, UK. June 2017
We holiday in Bath every year. This year was special! We have found our ideal place. Quiet, friendly and the Blackcurrant and Apple jelly was amazing. A wonderful first holiday with our precious 8 month old grandson, daughter and son-in-law. Will definitely return. Thank you. – The Blaxland Family, Cornwall, UK. January 2017
Had a great few days in a valley which is truly a hidden gem. So peaceful. Beautiful views, remoteness – a happy time together was enjoyed with our family – plenty of walking – beer in the local pubs and good food all made for a great Easter weekend!! Thank you to Brett for the delicious shortbread and marmalade, and welcome hamper was very welcome including the delightful tulips and Easter decorations! – The Clary Family, Kent, UK. Easter 2017

We had a great time! The veranda at the end of the cottages is the best place ever to enjoy a drink in the setting sun. Thank you for the hospitality. – The Kamperman-Sanders Family, Maastricht, The Netherlands. May 2016
We have had a fab holiday in this special place. Cottage has a ‘wow’ factor! And it has been very relaxing to be in such a peaceful setting. I feel like I have discovered a ‘secret’ part of England. - The Pugh Family, Cheshire, UK. April 2016
Thank you for a fantastic stay. From the delicious welcome hamper to the children’s plates/bowls/cutlery the attention to detail has been outstanding. We’ve been down visiting family and there is no doubt in our minds that we’ll be booking again for our next visit! – The Poland Family, Scotland. September 2015
Our last visit was in 2003! This place is still very special not sure why it took so long to return. Beautiful walks on the doorstep. Sweet Apples tea rooms in Marshfield well worth a visit. Visit Bath Aqua Glass to experience glass blowing and even have a go too. The kids loved it! So much more to do and see, can’t wait to come back – it won’t be as long before we do! The Sainlthouse Family, Surrey, UK. March 2016
Exceptionally nice place – thank you SO much! – The Taylors, USA, July 2017
It is with a heavy hearts we are leaving Nailey Farm. We had just the best time! We loved exploring the farm and meeting the animals and the fabulous walks, just perfect, and provided much needed relaxing and family time! We also loved the fact that you were within a really good location to explore the area and there is something for everything, the young and old! Thank you SO much Nailey Farm, you were perfect! – The Doherty Family, Northern Ireland, July 2017
Unfortunately, we have to leave. Back to the Netherlands, after such a wonderful stay in your farm cottage. Well equipped, and taking care of every detail to make you feel at home – abroad. We will come back to your place and meanwhile, we will tell our friends and family about this and the beautiful country you are living in. Keep doing things the way you did so far, this is very, very good! All the best. – Family van Doesburg, The Netherlands, October 2016
Such a gorgeous place with breathtaking views. We loved being around the animals (especially the little brown and white dog) and cows in the fields remind us of home. We explored many one lane roads and were lucky, especially down to St Catherine’s Court. The cottage was very well appointed and comfortable. We felt that we joined your family of farm animals who seem so well cared for and catered to. Should we have friends travelling to England you would be on top of “places to stay list”. – Carol and Walton, Massachusetts, USA. October 2016
Thank you for this perfect place! We were overwhelmed at how lovely Longely is. Everything we needed was here and so beautifully clean. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed some hair raising experiences down narrow lanes! We loved Lacock and visited many National Trust properties. We had a lovely day in Bath. The dogs are great and the foxhounds very entertaining! We loved Stan especially. I am sure we will be back. Thank you Brett and John for sharing this lovely place X – The Hiltons, Isle of Wight, UK. September 2016
Dear Brett and John, thank you for this wonderful week. The cottages are even prettier and more comfortable than they already look on the internet; just perfect. This part of England is a dream; we’ll be back! – The Eyben Family, Cologne, Germany. August 2016
Nailey Farm Cottages was the 6th holiday let since we arrived in the UK 7 weeks ago. We most certainly hit our luck and saved the best for last. Longley cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable and fully equipped really being a home away from home. As we leave here for our permanent accommodation (HOORAY) we have been very happy and relaxed here. The welcome pack is fantastic. Need the shortbread recipe. Thank you. – The Dini Family, Johannesburg, South Africa. July 2016
Nailey Farm has definitely been the best choice we could have made to explore the South-West of England!! We have felt ‘at home’ during our two week stay. Amazing views, nice animals, comfortable ‘5-star’ cottages and friendly service! We have also enjoyed the surroundings a lot, including Marshfield, its kind people, the pubs and shops, and the proximity to Bath and other places of interest. We highly recommend Dyrham Park to spend a whole day with the kids. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, BRETT AND JOHN, FOR THESE PERFECT DAYS!! – The Rubio-Mozo Family, Cadiz, Spain. June/July 2016
A few years ago some Spanish guests wrote a wonderful Blog about their adventures at Nailey Farm for their website. It is written in Spanish but Google will translate it for you. http://www.euroresidentes.com/Blogs/campo/2007/08/la-casa-rural-nailey-cottages.html
